Condition Guide

Brand New
Clubs have never been hit and may still be in original packaging.

Like New/Mint Condition
Clubs are difficult to differentiate from new, show little to no wear, have been hit a few times if any, have new to near new grips, and have possibly been professionally refinished to remove any nicks, dings or scratches.

Excellent Condition
Slight signs of use or shop wear and NO dings, dents, skymarks, or any wear beyond minor brush or scratch marks. These clubs have beeen well maintained and have possibly been professionally refinished to remove any nicks, dings or scratches.

Very Good Condition
Signs of moderate, yet normal use with minor nicks, skymarks, scratches, or dings. Graphite shafts may show MINOR bag wear. These clubs will have been used for more than one season, but well cared for and maintained and have possibly been professionally refinished to remove any nicks, dings or scratches.

Good Condition
Bigger skymarks, scratches and nicks or dings but only those affecting the cosmetic wear of the club but NO effects of the structural integrity or the playability of the clubs. Graphite shafts will show more MODERATE bad wear.

Restrictions

  • All clubs must appear in our Value Guides (below
  • Have 8 sequential irons beginning with 3 or 4 iron
  • Have matching club heads, shafts and shaft flexes

Other Guidelines & Information

  • A 9 club set has the same value as an 8 club set
  • A set with 7 irons will have 80% of the value of an 8 iron set

Exclusions

  • Internal rattles, loose heads or ferrules
  • HUGE dings or gauges which look beyond repair
  • Severely worn grooves and/or faces
  • Missing inserts or medallions
  • Any sign of rust on the club head or shafts
